When upper and lower teeth do not meet together correctly, there are a number of ways to correct the problem, including orthodontics, crownwork and adjusting the bite.
Most of the time, the simplest and least invasive way is to perform an occlusal equilibration (bite adjustment). This procedure will , in 2 or 3 visits usually, even out and improve the relationship of the upper and lower teeth and therefore improve the health of the TM joints (TMJ) and the muscles associated with them.
